Summary edit

Description The U.S. Navy motor whaleboats from the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea (CVA-43) approach a downed Grumman HU-16C Albatross as the destroyer USS Rowan (DD-782) stands by. The plane lost a propeller on a flight out of Naval Air Station Cubi Point, Philippines, and had to make an emergency landing. It was towed to the carrier and taken aboard.
