English: The U.S. Navy light aircraft carrier USS Saipan (CVL-48) tied up at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida (USA). Following her commissioning on 14 July 1946, she trained student pilots out of Pensacola from September 1946 to April 1947. Note that Saipan still appears to be painted in wartime Camouflage Measure 21.
