SYDNEY, Australia (Aug. 14, 2016) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63) arrives in Sydney, Australia to promote green energy initiatives in support of the Great Green Fleet. The mission of the Great Green Fleet is to demonstrate how energy efficient systems and procedures, and the use of alternative energy contribute to combat capability, resiliency and flexibility in the operational environment.
