Description The U.S. Navy light cruiser USS Tucson (CLAA-98) under tow off the coast of San Diego, California (USA), 21 January 1967. The towing ship, USS Koko (ATA-185), is out of view to the right. Note that Tucson's No.3 127 mm/38 twin gun mount has been removed. The ship was scrapped at the National Metal & Steel Company plant, Terminal Island, California, in 1971-1972.
