English: The U.S. Navy amphibious cargo ship USS Union (AKA-106) anchored off Brooklyn, New York (USA), on 29 April 1945, just four days after her commissioning. The photo was taken by a plane from Naval Air Station New York, from an altitude of 90 metres. Note that she has only one of her LCM boats aboard, and no LCVPs.
