English: At sea aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) Oct. 28, 2001 -- A Landing Signal Officer observes the F-18E “Super Hornet”, as it makes it’s final approach to make a corrected carrier landing. The first fully operational squadron of F/A-18E aircraft will deploy aboard Lincoln, as the “Eagles” of Strike Fighter Squadron One One Five (VFA-115).
