English: Singapore (Apr. 21, 2003) -- Crewmembers assigned to the guided missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65) go aboard the guided missile destroyer USS Higgins (DDG 76) to begin the turnover process with the Higgins crew as part of the U.S. Navy’s Sea Swap initiative. This is the second phase of the Navy's Sea Swap initiative, which involves rotating three crews through a single ship to allow for more time on station in theater, while returning crews home at six-month intervals. Image title	030421-N-0021M-001 Singapore (April 21, 2003) Following a muster of "ship's company" on the pier, the former crew of USS Benfold (DDG 65) reports aboard what is soon to be its new duty station, USS Higgins (DDG 76), for the first time. The Benfold and Higgins' crews are conducting turnover here this week in the second phase of the Navy's "Sea Swap" experiment. Following the turnover the Higgins crew will return to its homeport in San Diego and take over USS Benfold. The Benfold crew arrived here April 16. Higgins arrived April 20.
