Sarah Heidt, anti-submarine warfare officer on board USS McCampbell (DDG 85), teaches Aboriginal students at their school how to give a “high five.” Heidt helped deliver toys and other useful supplies to the school during a ‘Project Handclasp” community service project as part of the Malaysia phase of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT). CARAT is a regularly scheduled series of bilateral training exercises with several Southeast Asia nations designed to enhance the interoperability of the respective sea services.
