English: VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Feb. 24, 2009) Emergency vehicles from Navy Region Mid-Atlantic fire and emergency services respond to a simulated aircraft crash and mass casualty drill as part of Exercise Solid Curtain 2009 at Naval Air Station Oceana. Exercise Solid Curtain is an annual force protection exercise conducted on naval bases and installations nationwide aimed at enhancing the training and readiness of Navy security and emergency personnel.
