Deitsch: Der Zürcher Pfarrer Johann Caspar Ulrich wurde auch bekannt als Bearbeiter der Zürcher Bibel; er versah die Biblia von 1755/1756, die später nach ihm Ulrichbibel genannt wurde, mit Vorreden, vielen Auslegungen und Nuzanwendungen ... und nothwendigen Concordanzen. Insgesamt 60 Tafeln illustrieren durch je drei Kupferstiche von Georg David Nessenthaler die biblische Geschichte beider Testamente. Jedes Bild enthält Beischriften in Deutsch, Lateinisch und Französisch. Die Apokalypse ist illustriert in drei mal drei Bildern. Es gelang mir bisher nicht, mehr über den Kupferstecher Georg David Nessenthaler zu erfahren. |
