Español: Norman Foster vuelve a dejar huella en Madrid. Tras la torre de CEPSA en el conjunto de las Cuatro Torres de La Castellana, vuelve con una propuesta sostenible e innovadora para el edificio de la plaza de Colón 1, que supone una transformación integral del inmueble, propiedad hasta principios de 2017 de la entidad bancaria Barclays. La obra ha sido presentada hoy en rueda de prensa por el coordinador general de Alcaldía, Luis Cueto; el propio arquitecto británico con miembros de su estudio Foster+Partners, y el director para España y Portugal de CBRE Global Investors, Antonio Simontalero. Concebido como un espacio de uso mixto, los trabajos se han iniciado recientemente y concluirán en junio del próximo año. La inversión supera los diez millones de euros. |
