Summary edit

Description
English: Activist action made at Pocahontas' memorial in St. George's Church, Gravesend, Kent, England, where her body is buried. The statue was covered with a black cloth, the official plaque was replaced for a new one, a pile of soil was placed in front of the statue and a fabric was extended on the ground which read 'LET'S BRING HER BACK HOME'. The activists demand Matoaka's body to be sent back to the land she came from (current Virginia, US) as they understand that her memorial in England is a symbol of colonial power that perpetuates the abusive treatment of the Native American nations.
