Description
English: Danish submarine "Havmanden". During a patrol on 19th of October 1914 it was fired upon by an unknown foreign submarine. The Danish sub narrowly escaped being hit by two torpedoes.
Dansk: Den danske undervandsbåd "Havmanden" på fotografi fra 1914. Den 19. oktober blev den under en patrulje i Kattegat beskudt med to torpedoer af en ikke-identificeret udenlandsk u-båd. "Havmanden" undgik med nød og næppe at blive ramt.
