Description
Français : Près de Saint-Martin-de-Ré, sur l'estran et dans une écluse à poissons en ruine, une aigrette garzette est en train de chercher de la nourriture. Une écluse à poissons est un piège pour les poissons. Elle est constituée d' une surface de l' estran entourée par une murette aménagée de claies (évacuations munies de grilles pour l'écoulement de l' eau). Lorsque la mer est descendue au niveau du sommet de la murette, les poissons qui sont encore à l' intérieur de l' écluse sont pris au piège, ils ne peuvent plus repasser au dessus de petit mur. Au fur et à mesure que la mer baisse, l' eau dans l' écluse s' évacue, de la sorte, il est plus facile de ramasser les poissons prisonniers. Dans l' Île de Ré cette technique de pêche est abandonnée depuis déjà plusieurs dizaines d' années.
