Summary

edit
Description The last picture from the Toronto Railway Museum before we move on. Here is an unidentified caboose # 70 in the museum. The car was still in the process of being restored, and was not yet signposted. From the markings on it's side. # 70 appears to have been used on the Toronto, Hamilton & Buffalo line, meaning it saw service between Canada and the US, passing close to Niagara Falls. A caboose is usually the last car of a long freight train which serves as a brakesman's cabin/ storage for repairs and maintenance tools and a lookout point along to train to monitor it's well being during the trip. Caboose are now obsolete and have been replaced with an electronic device.(Toronto, Canada, Nov.2015)
