Description
English: Union Pacific Big Boy number 4014, along with Union Pacific 844, in route to Ogden Utah, to help celebrate the 150th anniversary of the driving of the Golden Spike. 4014 was one of 25 Big Boys built by the American Locomotive Company for Union Pacific Railroad. They ran primarily between Ogden, Utah, and Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Big Boys were the largest, and heaviest of their type ever built, 132 feet long, 1,250,000 pound in weight.
