| Description |
English: United Arab Emirates Technical Training Centre Campus for UAE nationals in the grounds of the former HMP Northeye. Originally built as a military camp during World War Two housing those working at nearby RAF Wartling Radar Station before closing in 1958 and becoming a category C prison. The prison buildings were burnt down during a riot in 1986 and remained empty until 1992 when the UAE moved in and rebuilt it. Taken from the footpath that runs round the northern perimeter of the grounds. |
