English:

The University of Washington Huskies played six conference games during the 1927 season, winning four games and losing two. After the final game, in Los Angeles, tackle Clarence Dirks (to the right in this photo) was elected captain for the following season. Both Dirks and fullback John Dalquest (left) won Big W letters for their playing during the 1927 season.
