English: The Salzburg basin from the Untersberg mountain, looking north east. Salzburg Airport is seen, with a straight road running into the centre of Salzburg in the middle ground. The Altstadt (Old Town), featuring Festung Hohensalzburg atop the Monchsberg mountain, and the New Town, are visible on the right. The River Salzach, which divides the Old Town and New Town can be seen.
