| Description |
English: Unusual Architectural Style, Chester Road Josiah Mason (pictured) would not be pleased. The interesting style of property on (north) corner of Orphanage Road and Chester Road has not been cared for for some time. The owners have been trying to develop the site, and there were proposals to demolish the 3 houses here and replace with new housing. Seems to be put off again.
The statue of Josiah Mason is on the island, amongst flowers. The site of former orphanage is less than 100 metres away. |
