English: Upstream River Chew, Pensford old bridge The River Chew in quiet mood; a completely different scene to that in 1968 when it flooded the church and caused damage to the viaduct and modern road bridge (less than 100 metres downstream from this point), and had to be rebuilt. The new bridge was opened 29 October 1969. |
