English: Uramaki rolls, (the opposite of makis in the making) are a preferable type of food for eating at ease with two bamboo sticks, as japanese tradition indicates to. One day I tried preparing these at home, after studying for a full day on how to cook the rice right and fold the nori sheets onto the bamboo sushi rolling mat in a proper way to keep the shape consistent. It was quite a wonderful experience, as you can learn about the science and art of another country tradition, while you can enjoy that food accompanied with soy sauce and/or other asian originated ingredients, like wasabi mayo, sesame seeds and pickled ginger as well.
