English: Rakesh Sharma Ji is traveling from Kathmandu (Nepal) to New Delhi (India) from Bicycle. He started his journey on 10th August 2019 from Kathmandu. He covered 76 km on the first day and reached Gajuri. On the second day, he covered 46 km., and so on. He crossed Indo Nepal Border on 17th August 2019 after covered in 270 km. When he reached Indo_Nepal border, then he decides to go Lumbini in Nepal which 27km far, but he goes there. Then he stays there for 1 day. And he starts his journey again from Lumbini Nepal. He cycled for 27km again to reach Indo Nepal Border the cycled to reach Gorakhpur, He covered 131km on that day. On 19th August 2019, he cycled from Gorakhpur to Ayodhya and covered 135km in a day. He reached Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh). Today on 20th August 2019, he is still in Ayodhaya, because he is suffering from fever. Maybe he starts his journey on 21st or maybe 22nd August. May he get well soon.
He takes this decision because he wants to aware of our generation about the benefits of bicycles. He wants to tell people that bicycle not only saves our money it's also saved our health. In these days especially, we need to use a bicycle because of our lifestyle has been damaged our health. People facing many diseases at a very early age. Pollution in air is our main problem due to traffic on the road. Cycling reduces air pollutants, reduces noise pollution and congestion. Especially when global warming has become a big danger for our earth. Last but not least, people these wasting their too much money on a vehicle, not only for their needs, basically for "showoff". And Motor vehicles cause a lot more wear and tear on roads compared to walking and cycling.
