Description
English: Bang - you're dead! Impressive collection of German WWII missiles and gliding bombs.

The big black and white job is the A4 or V2. As a steam enthusiast I'm particularly interested by the high capacity turbine driven fuel pumps that are turned by steam produced by the catalytic decomposition of HTP - high test [hydrogen] peroxide. Engineering that is both elegant and brutal (not to mention lethal - what did Tom Lehrer say about Werner Von Braun only being concerned about them going up and not where they came down?).

My colleague Chris Hodrien has added the following: -

Even more interesting and rare than the V2 are:

a) the short fat red+yellow beastie on the floor - this is a Henschel anti-shipping guided missile which was in effect the world's first guided Cruise Missile.

b)The vertical one in the corner on the right is the "Rheintochter" guided AA missile, also way ahead of its time.
