Description
English: Vardø Police Station in Vardø, a small town in the easternmost part of Finnmark. The concrete building was designed by the Norwegian architect Ole Halvorsen, completed in 1952, and was initially used as the "Seamen's Mission's fisherman and seafarer home".
Norsk bokmål: Vardø politistasjon (politikammer) i Strandgata (på hjørnet av Roald Amundsens gate) i Vardø lengst øst i Finnmark. Betongbygningen ble tegnet av arkitekten Ole Halvorsen, stod ferdig i 1952 og tatt i bruk som «Den indre Sjømannsmisjons fiskar og sjømannsheim» under navnet Hotell «Havly» (navnet er fellesbetegnelse på alle fiskerheimer og velferdsstasjoner som tilhører DISM).
