Description
English: A VC-1 TA-4J Skyhawk begins deployment of a TDU-22B air-to-air missile target over the Pacific Missile range facility, Barking Sands, Kauai, HI. Up to 5 miles of stepped cable can be run out for AIM-7 Sparrow and AIM-9 Sidewinder shot. The TDU-22B can be deployed with radar reflectors within center tube and infra red acquisition flares can be mounted on the aft fins and ignited from the aircraft's cockpit.
