Description U.S. Marine Corps pilot 1st Lt. John R. Norman standing in front of the socreboard of Marine Fighting Squadron VMF-321 "Hells Angels". The board shows 39 kills in April 1944. Norman shot down four aircraft during a mission on 23 January 1944, for which he received the Distinguished Service Cross.
