Description
Português: Vagão usado pelo ex-presidente Getúlio Vargas, faz parte do acervo do Museu do Trem: Acervo móvel e imóvel do Antigo Centro de Preservação da História Ferroviária do Rio de Janeiro, situado na rua Arquias Cordeiro, nº 1046. Na Revolução de 1930, Getúlio seguiu rumo ao poder a bordo de um vagão de trem equipado com o que havia de mais confortável para a época, inclusive ventiladores. Getúlio e seus camaradas partiram à meia-noite do dia 10 de outubro, por ferrovia, rumo ao Rio de Janeiro, capital federal na época, deixando o governo do Rio Grande do Sul com Osvaldo Aranha. Em novembro, quase um mês após o embarque, Getúlio Vargas assumiu o Palácio do Catete.
