فارسی: دریاچه ولشت یکی از 10 دریاچه آب شیرین کشور محسوب می شود که در منطقه كلاردشت واقع شده

دریاچه كوهستانی ولشت در جنوب غربی شهر چالوس و در شمال شرقی كلاردشت و در ارتفاع یك هزار متری از سطح دریاچه خزر قرار دارد. مسیر دسترسی به آن از شهر چالوس و از طریق كندوان و محور ارتباطی چالوس به تهران آغاز و پس از طی بیست و سه كیلومتر و بعد از پل كجور و گذر از سربالایی ها و پیچ های جنگل تا كنار دریاچه ادامه می یابد. حضور گردشگران بدون نظارت، طی سال های گذشته طبیعت این منطقه آسیب پذیر و اكوسیستم طبیعی آن را دگرگون كرده است.

دریاچه ولشت دارای اكسیژن و دمای متفاوتی با سایر نقاط كلاردشت است و ورود آلاینده های محیطی، حیات انواع آبزیان چون ماهی سفید، اردك ماهی، شاه كولی و حتی جلبك ها و پلانگتون ها را در معرض تهدید قرار می دهد
English: Valasht Lake with its depth ranging from 7 to 28 meters and a height of 1,000 meters above the Caspian Sea level is located about 30 kilometers northeast of Kelardasht in Northern Province of Mazandaran.
