Français : Valenciennes Place d'Armes : de gauche à droite : le restaurant "à l'Escargot", l'Hôtel de Ville ; après la rue de la Halle : le théâtre.
L'Hôtel de Ville fut détruit durant la 2ème Guerre Mondiale, la façade a pu néanmoins être restaurée.
Architecte : Jules Batigny ; sculpteur : Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux
Reconstruction : 1953  : Jean Vergnaud ; Robert Marlière. Paul Guislain (architectes).
