Description

Dübendorf, 25 August 1984.

There was a small static show during the open day. The Vampire was the most interesting aircraft on show. There was another very nice plane on show that I will upload later. ;)

The Swiss used more than 200 Vampires of which 39 were T55 trainers. The T55's flew from 1953 to 1990.

U-1219 survived, received registration G-DHWW and was seen at Fairford during RIAT 1995. It still had its original colours then, but was later painted blue-white to resemble a Royal Navy Vampire.
