Description

Het motorschip "Bijlmermeer" uit Zaandam vaart over het Van Harinxmakanaal ten zuiden van Leeuwarden. Het schip vervoert zand en is zojuist onder de Van Harinxmabrug door gevaren. De foto is genomen vanaf de Van Harinxmabrug waarover het autoverkeer uit de richting Zwolle de stad Leeuwarden binnenkomt. Links is de stad Leeuwarden, rechts is het dorp Goutum. "Bijlmermeer" is in 1972 gebouwd op de werf "De Amstel" in Ouderkerk aan den IJssel voor het Nieuw Centraal Verkoop Kantoor Zand & Grind Amsterdam BV te Amsterdam. De huidige eigenaar is Ballast Nedam te Zaandam. Het schip heeft een tonnage van 610 ton. De lengte is 55,86 meter en de breedte is 7,36 meter. De diepgang van het schip is 2,05 meter. Het wordt voortgestuwd door een DAF-motor van 224 pk.
