Description
English: 965 GRT steamship Cavour, a shallow-draught passenger and cargo steamship built by Scott & Co of Greenock for Lamport & Holt Line for coastal service in Brazil. In 1891 it was sold to Brazilian owners. In 1896 the Brazilian government bought it and renamed her Itapeva. In 1899–1900 the Brazilian Navy had her converted into an aviso and renamed it Comandante Freitas. In 1915 it was withdrawn from active service.
