Description
Català: El grup dels crustacis és un grup dins els artròpodes molt heterogeni on la seva classificació és extremadament complicada degut a la seva varietat de formes que presenten. En la il·lustració es poden observar l'anatomia d'un cranc i una gamba de la classe dels Malacostracis (el grup més conegut i estudiat de crustacis) i dos individus de la classe dels copèpodes amb una gran importància i paper biològic en les xarxes tròfiques marines. En la il·lustració es pot veure també la gran varietat d'apèndixs que presenten els individus en funció del seu hàbitat o de les funcions vitals de cada espècie.
