Français : A l’issue du 2nd conflit mondial et les réorganisations territoriales en découlant, la Pologne récupère dans une localité proche de Wroclaw, la grande métropole de Basse-Silésie et du sud-ouest du pays, une usine d’armement ayant appartenue aux Allemands.
Les autorités communistes nouvellement installées lui assignent la production de véhicules de transport en commun, dont les besoins sont énormes. En 1972, un contrat de licence est signé avec le français Berliet pour assembler sur place le bus urbain PR100 avec des composants importés de Vénissieux, dérogation accordée l’industrie locale se révèlant incapable de les fournir. Cette 1ère expérience est un fiasco car l’ensemble se montre peu fiable, avec moteur gourmand et manquant de puissance, transmission semi-automatique capricieuse, châssis inadapté aux rugueux réseau routier et hivers polonais. La production du modèle cesse au bout de 2 ans et un millier d’exemplaires écoulés, lorsque l’accord en prévoyait cinq fois plus... En 75 a lieu une remise à plat complète, marquée par l’arrivée du PR110. Le V8 Berliet est remplacé par un bloc Leyland à peine plus puissant produit sous licence (chose prévue dès le départ), tout comme la transmission Wilson par un ensemble ZF. La licence franco-polonaise expire en 83 mais le PR110 continue à évoluer, il est décliné en versions interurbaine, tourisme (soutes à bagages), trolleybus... et sera produit à plus de 12 000 ex. jusqu’à sa fin définitive en 91. Tir rectifié donc. Jelcz cesse de son côté la fabrication de véhicules TC en 2008 pour se recentrer sur les camions, engins militaires et lutte contre l’incendie.Polski: Autobusy Jelcz M125M/4 Vecto CNG (#666, nr rej.
