Description
English: This picture was taken by a student of my first middle class (11 years old). I teach Mathematic and Science in the Parini-Merello Middle School in Genoa, Italy. This student is very fond of LEGO constructions, and when we approached the cell structure subject he built this cell model. From the outside: the cell wall made of cellulose is the transparent cage; the nucleus is the black pot with the four nitrogenous bases inside represented with different colours; four red mitocondria; three green chloroplasts; two red centrioles; two transparent lysosomes with some material inside; the Golgi apparatus in green and finally a vacuole with sparkling material inside.
