Description

Nederlands: Jacob Luinstra (11-03-1897 geboren, overleden op 20-06-1967), grootvader van de bezoeker. Het object is o.a. een carte de visite; dhr. Luinstra staat op de foto in zijn officiele uniform. Jacob Luinstra zat bij de huzaren van Boreel. Naast een foto brengt de bezoeker ook een zakboekje en landstormpapieren mee. Hij was gemobiliseerd en gelegerd te Amersfoort. Jacob Luinstra ging in 1919 uit dienst. Hij ging met verlof naar Woerden; een verlofbewijs & vervoerbewijs van Visvliet naar Woerden. Ook brengt bezoeker foto’s mee van het regiment. Achterop de foto staan de namen van de huzaren uit het regiment. De familie Luinstra had een boerderij in Oldekerk, Groningen.
