Mae Khachan Hot Spring se encuentra a una hora de camino entre el km. 64 y 65 en Tambol Mae Chedi Mai, distrito de Wiang Pa Pao. Estas aguas termales son muy populares entre los tailandeses, y generalmente se visitan haciendo un alto en el camino a Chiang Mai o Chiang Rai. La temperatura del agua está entre los 80 y 90 grados centígrados, por lo que allí se puede ver gente local tratando de vender huevos a los turistas para hervirlos en las aguas termales. Hay además locales donde los turistas pueden comprar productos artesanales como objetos de plata o tallados en madera. |
