Description
Français : Le débit d'air traversant un venturi-tuyère est plus petit quand il est monté à l'envers: le jet se détache du col près duquel règne une forte dépression. Cette propriété a servi à réaliser le pulso-réacteur sans clapets "Escopette" de la SNECMA en 1951.
English: The flow through a venturi-nozzle is smaller when flowing in the reverse way: the jet separates at the throat of the nozzle where the pressure strongly decreases. This property served to realize the pulse-jet without moving vanes "Escopette" in the french motor company SNECMA in 1951.
