Description
English: This picture compares the effect of subject movement on long-time exposures. On the left still, the big wheel was immobile. The sickle effect on the middle photo came from sequentially running lights on the spokes, which where uniformly illuminated on the right side, contributing therefore to the nearly equally lighted disk shape at the chosen exposure time.
Deutsch: Dieses Bild vergleicht die Einflüsse von Bewegungen des Motivs auf Langzeitbelichtungen. Links steht das Riesenrad still. Der Sicheleffekt auf dem mittleren Bild kommt von die Streben langlaufenden Lichtwellen, in der rechten Aufnahme wurden die Speichen gleichmäßig beleuchtet, was bei der gewählten Belichtungszeit zu einer fast einheitlichen Fläche führte.
Français : Cette image compare les effets de mouvements du sujet sur la photographie aux longs temps de pose. La photo de gauche montre une grande roue immobile. L'effet de faucille sur la vue du milieu vient de lampes allumées en série sur les rayons de la roue, rayons illuminés uniformément sur l'image de la droite pour créer ce disque de lumière presque uniforme avec le temps de pose choisi.
