Description
Deutsch: Viele sagen, es ist das schönste Gebäude in der Gemeinde Garching an der Alz. Vermutlich ist es auf jeden Fall die schönste Generalagentur der Versicherungskammer Bayern. Gemeint ist das Versicherungsbüro Herbert Suttner, das in der Garchinger Straße 1 in Wald an der Alz ihr Büro betreibt. Ursprünglich handelt es sich bei dem denkmalgeschützten Gebäude um ein ehemaliges Kauf- und Warenhaus aus dem Jahr 1904. Die Villa präsentiert sich als schlossartiger Bau mit Mansarddach, mehreren Ecktürmchen und reicher Fassadengliederung in Formen der Neurenaissance. In den Jahren 2021 und 2022 wurde das Gebäude kernsaniert und erwacht so wieder zu neuem Leben.
