Description

The City of North Charleston hosted its annual Veterans Day tribute on Monday, November 11, 2014 at Park Circle.

The Department of Defense and the Veterans Day National Committee selected North Charleston as a Regional Site for Veterans Day 2014. North Charleston is one of two regional sites in the State of South Carolina and has received this designation for 5 consecutive years.

Lt. Clebe McClary was the event's keynote speaker. Lt. McClary is a veteran of the Vietnam War. During his service, he was wounded in action, receiving numerous awards for his bravery and valiantly while on the battlefield.
