Description

El viaducto del río Ulla, dentro del corredor de Alta Velocidad Norte-Noroeste, en el eje Ourense-Santiago, tiene una longitud de 630 m. Se apoya en el terreno sobre 9 pilas (con una altura máxima de 116.9 m), y sobre cinco pilastras que descansan sobre un arco de 168 m de luz que salva el río Ulla. El arco tiene una flecha de 104.39 m entre clave y arranques.

El arco se construye con dos carros de avance en voladizo, uno para cada semiarco. Los semiarcos se van atirantando provisionalmente al tablero a medida que se van ejecutando, por lo que una vez que se van levantando cada dos pilastras sobre el semiarco es necesario construir el vano correspondiente del tablero. El tablero se ejecuta por el sistema de cimbra autoportante. Una vez cerrado el arco y ejecutado el tramo superior del tablero, se retirará el sistema de atirantado.
