Description
English: Australia's Minister for International Development and the Pacific, Senator the Hon Concetta Fierravanti-Wells, toured the Pacific-Community-SPC Centre for Crops and Trees (CePaCT) in Nasinu. The Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research and CePaCT are working together to produce seedlings for farmers post-Tropical Cyclone Winston. While at CePaCT, Senator Fierravanti-Wells announced AU$250,000 funding for CePaCT and the establishment of a permanent ACIAR office at the Australian High Commission in Suva.
