Summary edit

Description
English: The photograph was taken during an ethnographic field trip in the Andean highlands. It is common to find these animals at higher altitudes, although their populations have been drastically reduced in recent decades. Because they are wild animals, and because of the areas they inhabit, indigenous communities attribute to them a close relationship with Pachamama.
