Norsk bokmål: Aftenposten tirsdag morgen 18. mai 1943: «Appellen på Slottsplassen i går. Ministerpresidenten takker sine kampfeller for 10 års innsats. [...] Ministerpresidenten mottok om formiddagen en rekke gratulasjoner på Slottet og kl. 12 ble det holdt en høytidelig appell med oppmarsj av ulike uniformerte æresavdelinger [...] fra hirden, Germanske SS Norge, ordenspolitiet, NS-føreraspiranter, førergarden, kvinnehirden, gutte- og gjentehirden, hirdmarienen og avdelinger fra hirdens flykorps med stabsmusikken i spissen [...] Videre var frammøtt 21 (27?) sårede frontkjempere.
