English: View across Newport Taken from Pillmawr Road which connects Caerleon to Malpas and is just over 50m above sea level at this point
The M4 motorway can be seen in the foreground. The transporter bridge (556534), built in 1906, is still the most prominent feature despite much construction in the city over the past 100 years. In the distance, on the far side of the Severn Estuary, is the North Somerset coast ST3266. |
