| Description |
English: View across the River Yare by Reedham Ferry. Part of the car ferry - essentially a small floating raft which is guided across the River Yare on chains > 1476276 - can be seen at left as it is about to land on the north side of the river. The ferry can only carry two cars at a time and is surprisingly busy, with it being the only crossing between Great Yarmouth and Norwich. The Ferry Inn public house can be seen in the background, on the north side of the river. The structure seen in the foreground (right) is a boat-shaped shelter constructed from what appears to be the front half a boat. See also > 1476316. |
