English: View from Northfieldhead Hill The hill is the site of a large Iron Age settlement with the remains found of about 15 round houses. From the left the hills are Wether Law and Hogdon Law with Cushat Law just visible behind. Salter's Road passes over the flanks of High Knowes in the middle foreground on its way to Ewartly Shank (hidden behind). Shill Moor is just visible to its right with the dark plateau of Cheviot behind with Hedgehope to its right. Dunsmoor Hill with its outcrops of Long Crag and Cunyan Crags is on the far right. |
