| Description |
English: View from level Crossing No. 39 Hillcrest. This level crossing > 1753517 is situated in the Limpenhoe marshes between the villages Reedham and Limpenhoe, south-west of Hill Farm. The sugar factory in Cantley can be seen in the distance. Components forming part of the level crossing can be seen by the lineside in the foreground.
The line between Reedham and Cantley is closed over the weekend whilst a new track is being laid. The old rails and sleepers have already been removed. The men will be working day and night so as not to disrupt rail traffic for any longer than necessary and portable lights positioned along the lineside will illuminate the track at night. |
